Description:100,000 lbs.(approx.) Light and Heavy Steel with foreign attachments on the ground located in Dahlgren VA. Period of performance is 4 months. Successful bidder is required to stage 5 ea 30 or 40 yd. roll-off containers on site for collecting. Containers will be weighed on base scale. If the base scale is unavailable for any reason, buyer is required to weigh in and out at the closest certified CAT scale at their own expense. Container is to be removed within 3 days of verbal notification. Appointment needed for removal. Buyer will be required to provide their own equipment and personnel to load the containers. There may be instances where property is too large for a roll-off container. Buyer will then be responsible for cutting material to fit container or provide a flatbed for removal of property. There may also be times when buyer will need to provide a roll off and personnel to load container at another part of the base. Buyer is responsible for cleanup of ALL debris metal and dunnage from the ground. Buyer is to provide hardhat, yellow safety vest and safety glasses for their personnel and equipment is to be worn at all times. All base safety rules must be adhered to. Destructive Scrapping required. By bidding, each bidder represents, warrants, and certifies that ALL materials purchased will not be re-used or re-furbished, or sold for re-use or refurbishing. Buyer must provide Liquidity Services with a Certificate of Destruction on the form specified by Liquidity Services within 30 days of removal. The price will be adjusted every month beginning with the first full month after the start of the contract. The price will be adjusted during the second week of the month. The revised price will be determined by taking the price of AMM No2 Bundle Pittsburgh on the first Thursday of the month and dividing it by the AMM No 2 Bundle Pittsburgh used on the contract start date. The percentage will be applied to the price per pound to arrive at an adjusted price.

ALL FUNDS MUST COME FROM THE REGISTRANT. GL WILL NOT ACCEPT THIRD PARTY FUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON.
Invoices are generated per event number, not per lot number.
You must make payment in full within 3 business days of the official invoice date unless otherwise stated. The date of the invoice is not counted as the first day for purposes of calculating the payment deadline.
Credit cards submitted online will automatically be charged the full amount of your purchase (including buyer's premium and taxes) the next business day after the sale closes, unless otherwise noted on our website and unless you contact us prior to the close of the sale.
Credit cards will not be accepted for any invoice in excess of $10,000; customers must submit payment via certified funds (i.e., wire transfer, cashier's check).
