125,000 lbs(approx) Mixed metals, unsegregated, scrap, term contract. Located at Fairchild AFB, 120 N. Foulois, Fairchild AFB, WA. 99011. Period of performance is six months. Scrap may include but is not limited to: light and heavy steel, aluminum, stainless steel and copper. Majority of scrap to consist of light & heavy steel from desks, file cabinets, chairs, tool boxes, wall lockers, furniture, refrigerators (freon free), ranges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, cylinders, banding, valves, pipe, structural shapes, shop trimmings, vehicle components, truck engines (drained of fluid), doors, generators, cable and wire. Scrap may contain up to 20% foreign attachments including wood, cardboard, canvas or plastic. All scrap under this contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the base or mutilation must be witnessed and certified by DOD personnel at another facility. Title to the material does not pass to the buyer until the scrap has been mutilated. Buyer agrees to allow USG personnel to witness destruction. Buyer will provide two 40 cubic yard roll off containers. One container will be left in a secured, designated area, for accumulation. Contractor will be notified when secured location container is full and will have three business days to schedule an appointment date with Government Liquidation to witness pick-up and mutilation of product at buyers designated area. Buyer must drop off an empty container in secured area so that accumulation does not stop. The second container must be dropped off at the DRMO cross dock on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Drop off time is no later than 0830 and pick up time will be between 1445 and 1500. Contractor may also be required to drop off as many as two more containers or flatbed on Base for special projects. Government Liquidation personnel will escort containers from cross dock area and secured location area to a weigh scale either on base or a certified scale at buyers location to witness weighing and mutilation of product. All oversized pieces needing to be cut or hauled by flatbed will be scheduled in advance. Torch cutting of oversized pieces is permitted with approval of base fire marshal. 350,000 lbs(approx) Mixed Metals, mostly light steel consisting of office furniture, metal lockers, desks, chairs, cabinets, shelving, appliances and air conditioners(refrigerant free), with foreign ferrous and non-ferrous, metallic and non-metallic attachments. Period of performance is 12 months. Property is located at Luke AFB. Two 40-yard roll-offs are required to be placed in yard. Photos are representative of type of property included but may not be actual property offered. A secured area is available for placement of roll offs. No contractor assistance for loading will be required. Access to the base will require a visitor badge and vehicle inspection. Purchaser may be responsible for weighing in and out on a commercial certified scale at their expense, weight tickets will be forwarded to GL site manager on day of pickup. Purchaser may be required to provide a flatbed for removal of large or unique items. Purchaser may be required to pick-up items or place roll-offs in other local yards for scrap accumulation. All personnel entering any of these sites for viewing or picking up are required to be US citizens, a true copy of their birth certificate with raised seal or valid passport with drivers license and insurance card. All scrap under this contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the installation or mutilation must be witnessed and certified by DOD Surplus personnel at another facility. The period of performance is for 6 months. Material to include metal office furniture, shelving, cabinets, wall lockers, desks, chairs, tables, refrigerators (Freon-free), vehicular parts, and engines, with ferrous, nonferrous and non-metallic materials. Purchaser is required to provide (2) 40-yard capacity container as well as a flatbed trailer when property cannot be loaded in rolloff. Photos are representative of property but may not be actual property in yard. No culling allowed by buyer. No sorting will be permitted on site. Buyer responsible for clean up of spills including use of absorbents and disposal of trash (wood, pallets, boxes, plastic, etc., included in sale and weight of sale. Buyer is responsible for loading of items that are too big to be placed in roll-off. Buyer is responsible for working in a safe and neat manner. All scrap under this contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the installation or mutilation must be witnessed and certified by DOD Surplus personnel at another facility.
