SWT 87-043 Naval Facilities Engineering Command (slwt) side loadable warping tug, characteristics: this bid is for one warping tug which is assembled with approx (30)individual cubicle pontoons 5'x5'x7', and (2) powered modules (1) machinery space 25'x5'7'. Weight approx 200000 lbs, includes winch double drum with cable, hours 30, a frame, mast light assembly, anchor 2000 lbs without chain, width 21' 6, deck height 5', total height 13', length 80' approx. Powered by (2) Detroit diesel engines, engine hours 325.3 and 247.1. Driven by (2)ea Allison twin disc marine transmissions that transfer power via (2)ea large drive shafts to (20ea water propulsion assemblies. Craft has a 55 gallon stainless steel hydraulic tank with a hydraulic starting and steering system. It has a 320 gallon stainless steel fuel tank and engine can be run on diesel fuels. Most fuel/hyd piping is stainless steel. Engines are outfitted with sea chests and selector valves for raw water cooling. The fire suppression system has (3)ea 50# fire bottles installed to a permanent piping system. Electrical system has (4)ea 12v batteries installed. Craft is operated via the pilot house and the use of morse cable controls. Each space is outfitted with (2)ea bilge pumps (forward and aft). Machinery space has (6)ea nitrogen filled accumulators that provide power and assistance to the hydraulic system. Craft has storage pontoons. Unknown condition of causeway bottom, expect engines to be in good shape and able to run. Dimensions are approximate and description is described as throughly as possible however the actual specifications/components may differ from the description. If removed by water buyer is entitled for craft to be moved from current location to crane free of charge, however buyer is responsible for crane charges in order for craft to be launched into water. Customer is allowed to conduct cutting/brazing provided that he follows all safety and environmental requirements as required by the base safety/environmental officer. if disassembled in sections buyer is entitled to one section lift only, buyer is responsible for lifting of remaining sections at his own expense.
