Description:

1,000,000 Lbs. (Apprx) Light and Heavy Steel, with ferrous and non ferrous attachments. Scrap may include but is not limited to: metal cabinets, pipe, frames, axles, sheeting, plate, safes, shipping containers, fencing, boilers, engines (certified fluid free), steel wheels, white goods such as refrigerators (Freon free), washing machines, ovens, and dish washers, pumps, sinks, beams, angle, desks, lockers, chairs, cylinders, office furniture and equipment. Attachments to include but not limited to: wood, plastic, cardboard, rubber and canvas and to be disposed of at buyer s expense. The price per pound will be adjusted every month beginning with the first full month after the start of the contract. The price will be adjusted during the second week of the month. The revised price will be determined by taking the price of AMM No. 2 Bundle Seattle on the first Thursday of the month and dividing it into the AMM No. 2 Bundle Seattle used on the contract start date. The percentage will be applied to the price per pound to arrive at an adjusted price. Buyer must provide (3) 40 cubic yard roll off containers. Property is located at MCLB Barstow buyer agrees to place (1) of the 40 cubic yard roll offs at our Yermo site in a secured area for accumulation. In addition pickups can be requested by DoD personal for scrap removal at the Federal Prison located in Victorville, Ca. and will be buyer s responsibility to comply with requests for removal. Contractor will be notified when container is full and will have three business days to schedule an appointment date with Government Liquidation for pick-up of property. Period of performance is six months. This contract requires mutilation by the buyer prior to removal if allowed by the base or mutilation must be witnessed and certified by Dod personnel at another facility. Title to the material does not pass to the buyer until the scrap has been mutilated. Buyer agrees to allow USG personnel to witness destruction.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For all Scrap Term Contracts, the Winning bidder is responsible for providing a down payment based on the winning bid price. New winning bidders must deposit 25% of the winning bid. Repeat Winning Bidders must deposit 10% of the winning bid. This deposit will be refunded upon the end of the Term. Down Payment is due within (3) business days of the award of the Term Contract.

• FORMS OF PAYMENT: Acceptable forms of payment include PayPal^TM, Visa^TM, Mastercard^TM, American Express^TM, cashier's check, money order, wire transfer and company check with a bank letter of guarantee. Please note that GL does not accept cash, ACH Deposits, personal checks or pre-paid debit cards.
• If you choose a form of payment other than a credit card, the following information must accompany a letter of instruction:

  Customer name
  Telephone number
  Sales event number or contract number
  Signature and date
  
• The name and address on the Government Liquidation user account must match the name and billing address of the credit card used for the bidding and purchase, or the charge will be rejected.
• ALL FUNDS MUST COME FROM THE REGISTRANT. GL WILL NOT ACCEPT THIRD PARTY FUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON.
• You must make payment in full within 3 business days of the official invoice date unless otherwise stated. The date of the invoice is not counted as the first day for purposes of calculating the payment deadline.
• Credit cards submitted online will automatically be charged the full amount of your purchase (including buyer's premium and taxes) the next business day after the sale closes, unless otherwise noted on our website and unless you contact us prior to the close of the sale.
• Credit cards will not be accepted for any invoice in excess of $10,000; customers must submit payment via certified funds (i.e., wire transfer, cashier's check).
