LOT (20, 000 LBS) APPROX WEIGHT OF SCRAP FIRED BRASS MUNITIONS SHELLS. INCLUDES ASSORTED 20MM, 50 CAL. 9. 0MM, 7. 62MM, 5. 56MM, 12GAU SHOT SHELL. SOME MATERIAL IS LOOSE IN HOPPERS, SOME IN BOXES OR ON PALLETS. LOCATED AT 210 TRANSPORTATION ROAD EGLIN A. F. B. FLORIDA. BUYER LOAD. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUTTING, & CRUSHING OF LARGER ITEM S. NO CULLING PERMITTED. MATERIAL IS ACCESSIBLE WITH A CRANE AND OR FORK LIFT. SOME MINIMAL MANUAL LOADING MAY BE REQUIRED. DOD SURPLUS WILL UNLOAD HOPPER S IN AN OPEN CONVEYANCE ONLY. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEAN UP AND REMOVAL OF DEBRIS AND FOREIGN MATERIALS. LOCAL DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS AND FOREIGN MATERIALS IS NOT PERMITTED. ALL SCRAP UNDER THIS CONTRACT REQUIRES MUTILATION BY THE BUYER PRIOR TO REMOVAL IF ALLOWED BY THE BASE OR, MUTILATION MUST BE WITNESSED AND CERTIFIED BY D. O. D. SURPLUS PERSONNEL AT ANOTHER FACILITY. TITLE TO THE MATERIAL IS NOT ISSUED TO THE BUYER UNTIL SCRAP HAS BEEN MUTILATED. BUYER AGREES TO ALLOW USG PERSONNEL TO WITNESS DESTRUCTION. WEIGHT INCLUDES CONTAINERS AND DUNNAGE (HOPPERS EXCLUDED) ON SITE GOVERNMENT CERTIFIED WEIGHT SCALES ARE AVAILABLE AND, ARE TO BE UTILIZED DURING PICK UP OF MATERIAL. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE ALL MATERIAL IS WEIGHED BEFORE LEAVING EGLIN SITE. WEIGHT TICKETS ARE TO BE FORWARDED TO THE EGLIN SITE OFFICE WITHIN 48 HOURS IF FOR SOME REASON WEIGHT TICKETS WERE NOT SUBMITTED BEFORE EXITING THE EGLIN SITE.
