GOVERNMENT WILL LOAD ROLL OFF CONTAINERS AS SCRAP METALS ARE GENERATED. PURCHASER WILL SWITCH FULL CONTAINERS WITH EMPTY WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. REMOVALS ESTIMATED TO BE WEEKLY. PURCHASER WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEIGH CONTAINERS ON CERTIFIED SCALE, EMPTY AND FULL AT TROMBLEYS INDUSTRIES, RT 89 LIMESTONE RD, LIMESTONE, ME. PURCHASER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS INCLUDED IN WEIGHING, TICKETS FOR TARE WEIGHTS WILL BE PICKED UP BY PURCHASER OR HIS AGENT AND PROVIDED TO MAINE MILITARY AUTHORITY POC WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DROPPED. DESIGNATED POC WILL ESCORT CONTAINERS TO THE SCALE AND RECEIVE WEIGHT TICKETS FOR FULL LOADS. ALL SCRAP UNDER THIS CONTRACT REQUIRES MUTILATION BY THE BUYER PRIOR TO REMOVAL IF ALLOWED BY THE BASE OR MUTILATION MUST BE WITNESSED AND CERTIFIED BY DOD SURPLUS PERSONNEL AT ANOTHER FACILITY. For all one-year term contracts Winning Bidder is responsible for a down payment of 1/12 or 8.33% of the winning bid price within three days of award (note: 1/12 or 8.33% represents the last month's invoice). This payment will be kept for the length of the contract and will be applied as payment for month 12 of the contract.
For all 6 month term contracts Winning Bidder is responsible for a down payment of 10% of the winning bid price within three days of award. This payment will be kept for the length of the contract and will be applied as payment for month 6 of the contract.
For all three-month term contracts Winning Bidder is responsible for a down payment of 10% of the winning bid price within three days of award. This payment will be kept for the length of the contract and will be applied as payment for month 3 of the contract.
For all three-year term contracts Winning Bidder is responsible for a down payment of 1/36 of the winning bid price within three days of award (note: 1/36 or 2.78% represents the last month's invoice). This payment will be kept for the length of the contract and will be applied as payment for month 36 of the contract.

Buyers wishing to export items should contact the appropriate U.S. Government agency regarding license requirements. Items may be subject to export restrictions imposed by applicable U.S. Laws and Regulations. You are responsible for compliance and should become aware of requirements and associated penalties for failure to comply.

We do not sell property to persons from the countries that are prohibited from receiving transfers of military equipment or technology.
