Lot Details

Description:

50,000 lbs. Light & Heavy Mixed Metal Scrap located at Hanover, NH Period of performance is 1 year. Materials may include but not limited to: furniture, vehicle parts, strappings, fittings, pipe, tubing, bar, household appliances, shelving, duct, wire, various cables and misc. items. May contain nonferrous and nonmetallic attachments. The buyer is required to provide a 30 yd. capacity container at site for collection. Containers must be in safe working condition. Containers must be weighed empty, dropped at site and full containers weighed out and weight tickets faxed to DOD Surplus POC. Full containers must be removed and replaced with an empty container within 3 days of verbal notification and appointment for removal's must be scheduled through DOD Surplus POC. The buyer is responsible for working in a safe manner. There may be a need for containers at additional sites and will be dealt with on an as needed basis. A flatbed may be required on special or unique items. By bidding, each bidder represents, warrants, and certifies that ALL materials purchased will not be re-used or re-furbished, or sold for re-use or refurbishing, but will ONLY be processed in order to recycle the raw materials into new, manufactured items. Buyer must provide Liquidity Services with a Certificate of Destruction on the form specified by Liquidity Services within 30 days of removal. Pictures are a representation only.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For all Scrap Term Contracts, the Winning bidder is responsible for providing a down payment based on the winning bid price. New winning bidders must deposit 25% of the winning bid. Repeat Winning Bidders must deposit 10% of the winning bid. This deposit will be refunded upon the end of the Term. Down Payment is due within (3) business days of the award of the Term Contract.

  • ALL FUNDS MUST COME FROM THE REGISTRANT. GL WILL NOT ACCEPT THIRD PARTY FUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON.
  • Invoices are generated per event number, not per lot number.
  • You must make payment in full within 3 business days of the official invoice date unless otherwise stated. The date of the invoice is not counted as the first day for purposes of calculating the payment deadline.
  • Credit cards submitted online will automatically be charged the full amount of your purchase (including buyer's premium and taxes) the next business day after the sale closes, unless otherwise noted on our website and unless you contact us prior to the close of the sale.
  • Credit cards will not be accepted for any invoice in excess of $10,000; customers must submit payment via certified funds (i.e., wire transfer, cashier's check).
