Description:1,000,000 lbs. (approx.) Light and Heavy Steel, prepared and unprepared. Property may include but not limited to: vehicular components, metal cabinets, racks, refrigerators and a/c units (refrigeration drained), pipes, chains, plates, brackets. Material may include ferrous and non-ferrous attachments such as glass, wood, cardboard, rubber, plastic and paper. Dunnage is included in the weight of sale. This contract is for a term of 12 months. "Destructive Scrapping required. By bidding, each bidder represents, warrants and certifies that ALL materials purchased will not be re-used or re-furbished or sold for re-use or re-furbishing. Buyer must provide Liquidity Services with a Certificate of Destruction on the form specified by Liquidity Services within 30 days of removal." The price per pound will be adjusted every month beginning with the first full month after the start of the contract. The price will be adjusted during the second week of the month. The revised price will be determined by taking the price of AMM No. 2 Bundle Pittsburgh on the first Thursday of the month and dividing it by the AMM No. 2 Bundle Pittsburgh used on the contract start date. The percentage will be applied to the price per pound to arrive at an adjusted price. There is a scale on site to weight full and empty containers, however it the scale becomes inoperable, certified CAT scale weight tickets will be required. **Pictures are representative of property being sold in the lot. Containers/hoppers in pictures are not included in the sale**. The bidding company must submit attached Operations Plan prior to being allowed to bid. This must be received by March 2 2018 and submitted to email address: Meg.Frausto@liquidityservices.com. Agreement may be terminated by either party upon 60 days prior written notice. **Successful bidder will be determined by combining the buyer's bids on all 5 lots. Total highest combined bid will win the contracts. Buyers who do not bid on all 5 lots will be disqualified**. Preview is available by appointment only with 24 hr minimum notice, prior to start of the sale and is recommended. Hours of operation for the scrap yard: Monday thru Friday 7am to 2:00pm. This contract also requires buyer to provide all equipment and personnel necessary to operate and maintain the daily functions of the scrap yard, to include maintenance and fuel for equipment during the length of this contract. All trash and waste are the responsibility of the buyer for removal. All containers being used for trash and debris must be either metal containers with lids or metal containers with tarps. Buyer will maintain, replace or repair all covers as needed. Buyer is required to adhere to all DOD Surplus and Base safety requirements. **All operations will be managed by DOD Surplus**.

ALL FUNDS MUST COME FROM THE REGISTRANT. GL WILL NOT ACCEPT THIRD PARTY FUNDS OF ANY KIND FOR ANY REASON.
Invoices are generated per event number, not per lot number.
You must make payment in full within 3 business days of the official invoice date unless otherwise stated. The date of the invoice is not counted as the first day for purposes of calculating the payment deadline.
Credit cards submitted online will automatically be charged the full amount of your purchase (including buyer's premium and taxes) the next business day after the sale closes, unless otherwise noted on our website and unless you contact us prior to the close of the sale.
Credit cards will not be accepted for any invoice in excess of $10,000; customers must submit payment via certified funds (i.e., wire transfer, cashier's check).

Commercial Trucks and Personal Vehicles with trailers must enter at 300 N. James Rd Whitehall Ohio 43213. Weapons of any kind are not permitted on-site and you will be turned away at the gate.
